I recently visited Gasansupia in Chilgok, Gyeongbuk.
I was curious to see how it looked compared to the scenery I saw last fall.
The weather was sunny, making it perfect for taking photos.

Operating Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Last ticket sales at 5:00 PM)
Chuseok Notice: September 24 (Thursday), 26-27 (Saturday-Sunday): All stores will operate normally
September 25 (Friday, Chuseok Day): The stone house at the foot of the mountain will be closed
Gasansupia is the largest private garden in the country, covering an expansive area of 860,000 pyeong!
In spring, you can enjoy cherry blossoms; in summer, hydrangeas; in autumn, colorful foliage and pink muhly; and in winter, sledding.
With a variety of plants, the garden showcases vibrant landscapes in every season.
On the walking trail, I encountered beautiful zinnias.
Zinnias bloom for 100 days, allowing ample time for appreciation. Originally red, they have been cultivated in various colors, creating a colorful display.
Gasansupia features a forest path ideal for barefoot walking, with a healthy earthen trail.
Surrounded by pine trees, the shaded path offers a refreshing atmosphere, and walking while breathing in the forest scent is truly revitalizing.
Facilities for washing feet after barefoot walking are also available for convenience.
In early to mid-October, the pink muhly grass will transform the landscape into a pink paradise.
Gasansupia is a popular destination due to its vast fields of pink muhly, attracting visitors from afar.
Although it is still green now, visiting after Chuseok will likely provide you with stunning photos.
I also spotted the late summer plant, bellflower. Its purple hue looks best when photographed from a lower angle to capture its lushness.
Round and fluffy, the dapsari (a type of plant) can also be seen. Once used to make brooms, it transforms from green in summer to colorful in autumn.
I encountered some alpacas enjoying their time outdoors, grazing on grass instead of staying confined to their pens.
The walk at Gasansupia showcased the transition from green to red foliage.
Especially since it is open for free, it makes for a stress-free family outing.
As autumn approaches, planning a visit to Gasansupia is highly recommended!
