In September, as the autumn breeze began to blow,
the Mun San River Sunset Path was filled with the footsteps and laughter of visitors.
Last weekend, I visited the 18th Mun San Street Festival,
exploring everything from experience booths to food and performances.
The festival featured hands-on activities and food prepared by local residents,
creating a lively atmosphere where families and locals mingled together.
It was a perfect festival for a light weekend outing in Paju.
Upon entering the event area,
I was captivated by the colorful experience booths.โจ
Activities like madeleine making, miniature pizza crafting,
and leaf diffuser creation drew the attention of children.
The participation fee was generally around 1,000 to 2,000 won,
making it easy for kids to choose their desired activities.
It was a great opportunity for children to engage and enjoy themselves.
One of the standout activities was madeleine making,
where kids added chocolate and colorful decorations
to create their own unique shapes,
filling the area with excitement.
Seeing the children proudly holding their completed madeleines
added to the joy of the experience.
Another popular booth among children was
the 'Our Neighborhood Fish Exhibition' run by the Mun San Community Council.๐
Children could observe fish up close,
often stopping to watch in amazement.
This space provided a different kind of fun,
making it a great spot to explore with kids.
The booths showcased families participating together,
with parents and children enjoying activities side by side,
adding to the festival's lively atmosphere.
Visitors could also find a booth offering ramen as a gift for participants.๐
Experiencing fun activities and receiving useful gifts
added small joys for the attendees.

It was enjoyable to explore each experience booth.

As I walked through the festival,

With a variety of options like snacks, chicken skewers, fried foods, ice cream, and fruits,
visitors could enjoy a quick bite or meal after their activities.
Among the offerings, a tavern-style eatery run by the community council stood out.
It provided a comfortable dining area,
creating a warm atmosphere.
The food was delicious, making it a great spot to take a break during the festival.
After enjoying the activities and food,
visitors could head to the special stage for performances.
On the first day, a youth dance competition showcased the passion of young performers,
while the second day featured the 28th Imjingang Song Festival from 7 PM.
This festival, which began in 1999 at a special stage in the Mun San traditional market,
has been a significant local event.
The 10th event in 2008 became a major program of the Mun San Street Festival,
and this year marked its 28th edition.
The long-standing local song festival meeting with citizens this year added to its significance.
The Mun San Street Festival was not just a performance to watch,
but a day filled with experiences, tastes, and exploration.
The residents' preparations for activities and food,
along with various performances, filled the Mun San River Sunset Path with laughter and energy.
Walking along the Mun San River Sunset Path,
experiencing the festival amidst the autumn scenery was a true joy.
