Running Routes in Goyang City: Ogum Sangchon Park and Osun Nuri-gil

Hello!
Discover the perfect running routes in Goyang City!
Introducing 'Ogum Sangchon Park' and the Goyang Nuri-gil Course 13, 'Osun Nuri-gil'!
Ogum Sangchon Park, a great running course in Goyang City!
Located in the ecological river area of Ogumcheon in Deogyang-gu, Goyang City, Ogum Sangchon Park is also the starting point of the Goyang Nuri-gil Course 13, 'Osun Nuri-gil'.
The Goyang Nuri-gil, well-known for trekking, consists of 14 courses, with 'Osun Nuri-gil' connecting Ogum-dong and Seonyu-dong, spanning approximately 6.8 km, making it perfect for a round trip of about 10 km.
Ogum Sangchon Park is a popular spot for residents of Ogum-dong, and this running journey has begun!
As the weather is hot and humid lately, I recommend running early in the morning or in the evening to prevent heat-related illnesses. Be sure to stay hydrated!
Starting from Ogum Sangchon Park, if you head down towards Gongneungcheon, using the right walking path allows for uninterrupted running under the bridge, helping to maintain your workout flow.
There are also restrooms and exercise/stretching equipment available along the route, so you can combine strength training with your run.
Many citizens enjoy walking their dogs in Ogum Sangchon Park, which has designated dog waste disposal bins, making it a great spot for dog walking.
At the end of Ogumcheon, you can join the 'Osun Nuri-gil Course' along the path next to Gongneungcheon.
Note that the walking path along Gongneungcheon lacks streetlights, making it difficult to run at night.
For those planning to complete the Osun Nuri-gil, you can proceed towards Seonyu-dong along the 'car road'.
For safety, I set the Goyang Aqua Special Shooting Studio as the turnaround point for my return run, taking my time to enjoy the scenery along Gongneungcheon and the 'Sangsan' rising above it.
Despite the cloudy day and high humidity, I managed to complete an 8 km round trip from Ogum Sangchon Park to Goyang Aqua Studio at a slow running pace.
If you're looking for a running course in Goyang City, I encourage you to try the 'Osun Nuri-gil Course' that connects along the ecological river Ogumcheon to Gongneungcheon.
Thank you!
