As October comes to a close,

the autumn leaves have started to

color the landscape in Sejong.

Looking for a place to enjoy the fall with my child,

we decided to visit Wonsusan,

which is perfect for a light hike.

Last weekend, I captured the beautiful autumn scenery

at Wonsusan.

The leaves have just begun to change,

and I believe visiting in early November

will offer even more stunning views.

Wonsusan offers a two-hour hiking course,

but for those wanting to enjoy the fall foliage,

I recommend two shorter trails

that are suitable for a quick hike of 20-30 minutes.

Recommended Autumn Foliage Trails:

Wonsusan Wetland Ecological Park

Wonsusan MTB Park

I parked at the Wonsusan Wetland Ecological Park

and set off for a light hike.

Even on a weekend, the parking area was spacious

and not crowded.

Wonsusan is not a high mountain,

but has gentle slopes,

so I wore comfortable sneakers and a light jacket.

As I passed through the entrance of the Wonsusan Wetland Ecological Park,

I was greeted by beautiful autumn photos

and images showcasing the four seasons of Wonsusan.

Just a short way up from the entrance,

the autumn leaves welcomed us.

Sunlight filtered through the yellow and red leaves,

creating a picturesque scene.

There are tables available, making it a great spot

to enjoy a picnic with the kids.

For the best autumn photos,

visit around 10-11 AM or after 3 PM

when the sunlight casts a beautiful glow on the leaves.

The gentle slope made it easy for me,

a hiking beginner, to enjoy Wonsusan.

As I reached the BioBlitz Sejong sign,

I was welcomed by a frog statue.

The well-maintained trails kept my shoes clean,

even after hiking.

There were also frog statues scattered around,

making it a fun spot for photos.

I often saw families hiking with their children,

enjoying the fall weather.

The cool weather was perfect for hiking,

and the gentle breeze made it refreshing.

From the top, the vibrant autumn colors

painted the landscape beautifully.

As I walked along the deck path,

I discovered various spots for taking in the fall foliage.

This area is right before reaching the summit of Wonsusan,

near Dalmaetul Neighborhood Park.

I saw families playing in the playground

against the backdrop of colorful leaves.

I was able to capture beautiful autumn photos

with the vibrant red leaves.

As the weather gets colder,

Wonsusan will become even more beautiful.

Walking from Wonsusan Wetland Ecological Park

to Dalmaetul Neighborhood Park and back

made for a perfect family outing.

I enjoyed the landscapes I missed on the way up,

and the changing light made the leaves appear differently.

Currently, Wonsusan is gradually transforming

with autumn colors, so before it gets too cold,

why not take a fall stroll with your child?
