Cultural Performances in Nature: A Saturday to Remember
The Saturday cultural performances that bring together nature and art have finally begun!

On May 2nd, I attended the acoustic guitar performance by the "Umchi Bakchi" team at Susungdae!

Umchi Bakchi Acoustic Guitar Performance
Date: May 2 (Saturday) 14:00 - 15:00
Location: Susungdae Lawn Square, 2 Eunha-ri-gil, Wicheon-myeon, Geochang-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do
After parking at the Susungdae parking lot, we entered the venue!
As we approached Susungdae, we saw Geochang's mascots, Gobokyi and Sagakyi!
There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby!
The performance took place at the lawn square in front of the Susungdae management office!
Each seat had a leaflet and the performance schedule!
The overall schedule for the Saturday cultural events was also available!
It was great to see the schedule for the Umchi Bakchi performance!
To the side, the staff were busy preparing for the performance!
Finally, the performance began! There were four seats, but only three people were sitting, which piqued my curiosity. It turned out that guitarist Kang Jeong-suk made a special appearance and performed from that seat!
They sang "The One Who Brings Me Happiness," and it was wonderful to harmonize together!
The president of Umchi Bakchi, who sat in the middle, had a beautiful voice. I heard "Rock Island" for the first time, and it was so sweet!
The guitarist on the right was very witty and did a great job leading the performance! I was surprised by how well he sang!
Listening to the sweet acoustic guitar performance amidst the green grass and trees was truly healing!
"Amazing Arirang" was a rearranged version that combined Arirang with other songs. It was delightful to hear a fresh take on the familiar tune!
Special guest Kang Jeong-suk filled in an empty seat with her soft and deep voice, which was mesmerizing!
They encouraged everyone to sing along with the well-known song "Get Up!" The audience followed along, and we enjoyed the moment together!
Passersby were naturally drawn to the music and sat down to listen. The location was perfect!
Some enthusiastic attendees even got up to dance, creating an amazing atmosphere!
The staff was diligently working behind the scenes, ensuring everything ran smoothly!
With a tent set up, both the staff and the audience could enjoy the performance without discomfort!
"Love Song" was a performance we could all sing along to. I was excitedly clapping along with my dad!
They performed the OST from the movie "C'est Si Bon," which I had enjoyed in the past, and it was fantastic!
The guitarist on the left was incredibly skilled at playing the guitar! The dynamics of his singing were impressive!
Each of the three performers had their unique charm, making the performance truly enjoyable!
Being surrounded by lush nature while listening to sweet acoustic melodies was a time for relaxation and peace!
It was a healing-filled Saturday where I could take a break from my busy life and enjoy music!
I'm looking forward to the upcoming Saturday cultural performances as well!
