1. Basic Information about Hamann Gymnasium
Today, I would like to introduce Hamann Gymnasium located at 619-4 Hamann-daero, Gaya-eup, Hamann-gun, Gyeongnam.
This facility plays a crucial role in providing sports, culture, and leisure activities for the residents of Hamann and is adjacent to Hamju Park, Hamann Culture and Arts Center, and Lotus Theme Park.
2. Exploring Hamann Gymnasium Facilities
Hamann Gymnasium is significantly larger than a typical sports center, spanning from the basement to the third floor.
Currently, it offers swimming, fitness, bowling, Pilates, yoga, dance, and spinning classes. Nearby, there are tennis courts, a bowling alley, and an archery range, creating a hub of culture and sports.
First, I visited the popular indoor swimming pool, which has six 25-meter lanes. According to the staff, classes are divided into beginner, intermediate, advanced, and training sessions to cater to individual skill levels.
The pool has a sloping depth starting at 1.3m, making it accessible for everyone, from the elderly to children.
The kickboards and pool buoys are well-maintained, and there are plenty available for use during lessons.
Next, I checked out the fitness center.
The gym has separate shower facilities, allowing users to access them without moving between floors. It offers a variety of machines and a free weight zone, supporting the health of Hamann residents through various exercise methods.
I also visited the spacious and clean GX room, where spinning, aerobics, Pilates, and yoga classes are held. The mirrors at the front allow participants to check their movements during workouts.
The indoor gymnasium features spectator seating on the second and third floors, accommodating 933 people (including 15 wheelchair-accessible seats). It has hosted large events, including the 56th President's Cup Boxing Championship this September, and is available for rental.
After leaving Hamann Gymnasium, I walked to the adjacent bowling alley, which, despite being around for a while, is well-maintained.
Notably, few municipalities operate bowling alleys, but Hamann-gun offers this at relatively low prices, which is a significant advantage.

As a member of the Hamann SNS reporter group, I enjoy exercising, especially swimming. After exploring the facilities and learning about the daily admission process, I feel more comfortable utilizing the gym.
Unlike other indoor pools, Hamann Gymnasium has fixed daily admission lanes, allowing access even during ongoing lessons. Additionally, the registration process is a lottery system, which eases the burden on users. The bowling alley is clean and affordable, making it easy to enjoy without stress.
