'Great Innovation, G-SUMMIT 2026'
For startups with new technologies and ideas, meeting investors, collaborating with companies, and seizing opportunities in new markets are as vital as technology development. A platform that supports the growth of such startups and connects investment and collaboration will be held in Suwon.
The Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency will host the '2026 Gyeonggi Startup Summit (G-SUMMIT 2026)' at the Suwon Convention Center from October 14 to 15. With the slogan 'Great Innovation, G-SUMMIT 2026', this event serves as a global business platform connecting innovative startups with domestic and international investors, as well as large and medium-sized enterprises.
Meet the Technologies of 156 Startups
Over 150 startups will showcase technologies and products in future industries such as artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, robotics, bio-healthcare, and climate tech. Notably, 'G-Leaders 10' will highlight ten promising startups in future industries, featuring technology demonstrations and business model presentations. Attendees can explore the exhibition to see what technologies startups are developing and the new business opportunities they are creating.
Beyond Exhibitions: Actual Investment and Collaboration
The summit will also feature a 1:1 investment meetup that directly connects investors and startups. More than 160 domestic and international investors are expected to participate, resulting in a total of 480 investment consultations. An open innovation program will also be held between large and medium-sized enterprises and startups, allowing startups to present their technologies and business models and discuss investment and collaboration opportunities. Various IR and competition programs, including the G-Star Audition finals and a pet startup competition, will also take place. This event aims to connect necessary investments and business expansion opportunities for startups, going beyond mere product exhibitions.
Conferences Discussing the Future of Technology
A conference will be held to explore the trends of startups and future industries. Key speakers include Kim Nok-won, CEO of K-AI semiconductor company DEEPX, Jeong Jae-seung, a leading neuroscientist in South Korea, and Reza Kazemi, an investment director at Plug and Play, the world's largest startup accelerator. The conference will cover topics such as technological innovation, startup growth, investment, and global market entry, making it meaningful for both aspiring entrepreneurs and attendees interested in future industries.
Experiences and Recruitment Programs for Everyone
Programs for attendees will also be available, including a stamp tour to explore the exhibition and free drinks served by a robot barista at an unmanned robot café. Additionally, a recruitment lounge will provide lectures and consultations for those interested in startup employment.
