Notice for Household Waste Disposal During Chuseok Holiday

The Chuseok holiday period is from

September 25 (Friday) to September 27 (Sunday), 2026.

There will be no waste collection during these three days,

so please plan your disposal accordingly.

⭕ Acceptable Waste Types:

General waste, food waste, recyclables, ash from briquettes, large waste items.

🍽️ Food Waste Disposal Method:

1. Place food waste in designated collection containers,

removing moisture and foreign substances first.

2. Purchase and attach a payment sticker that matches the size of the collection container,

and dispose of it in front of your door or business.

3. Please store and use empty collection containers inside your home or business.

♻️ Recycling Disposal Method:

1. Dispose of recyclables every Monday and Wednesday between 6 PM and midnight.

(Recycling collection days are every Tuesday and Thursday.)

2. Use transparent plastic bags or securely tie them to prevent scattering.

🗑️ Large Waste Disposal:

1. Visit or call your local community center or report online.

2. Fill out the large waste disposal report form.

3. Pay the fee and receive the disposal certificate.

4. Attach the disposal certificate and then dispose of the item.

🏥 Medical Institutions and Pharmacy Services During Chuseok:

From September 24 (Thursday) to September 27 (Sunday), 2026.

✅ Operational Details:

Health centers will operate emergency care and medical services during the holiday period.

Emergency medical institutions will maintain a 24-hour treatment system.
