Hello!
The sun is warm and the cool breeze is blowing.
The season of 'Autumn' has arrived.
Shall we take a trip together to Goyang's walking spot, 'Jeongbalsan Park'?
Let's take a stroll around Jeongbalsan Park!
I recently visited 'Jeongbalsan Park', a representative park in Goyang City.
Located in Il-san Dong-gu, Goyang City, this park covers an area of 644,650 square meters, making it one of the largest parks, second only to Ilsan Lake Park.
With its lush forests and numerous trees, it serves as the lungs of the city.
There is free parking available at the park, which you can find at the following address:
Jeongbalsan Park Parking Lot 2, 1121 Madu-dong, Il-san Dong-gu, Goyang City.
There are restrooms in the parking lot, so it’s a good idea to use them before your walk.
Although Jeongbalsan is a gentle hill at about 87 meters above sea level, it features long walking trails with uphill and downhill paths, making it a great place for a walk.
Near the summit, 'Pyeongsimru' is a stamp spot for the Goyang Nuri Trail.
Particularly, there are many 'oak' trees that bear acorns, which some may want to collect; however, this is strictly prohibited.
Thanks to the trend of 'barefoot walking', Jeongbalsan Park has an Earthing Road set up, and there are foot washing facilities available, so be sure to bring a towel and enjoy the forest trails.
For families, the 'Children's Forest Experience Center' is well-equipped for physical activities, making it a great place to visit with your kids.
The park's perimeter trail has resting spots strategically placed throughout, making it a comfortable walking experience.
As the weather cools down, it’s advisable to use the free insect repellent provided, as 'autumn mosquitoes' can be quite bothersome.
Next to Madu Library, along the uphill path to 'Pyeongsimru', there is a dog park with separate areas for small and large dogs, reflecting Goyang City's consideration for pet owners.
At the top of the stairs in front of 'Pyeongsimru', you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Ilsan area, and on clear days, you can even see Bukhansan Mountain.
So far, we have explored Goyang City's walking spot, 'Jeongbalsan Park'. Enjoy the refreshing autumn air!
Thank you.
