Located at the boundary of Changnyeongcheon,

Heungguksa Temple sits where Nogosan and Bukhansan face each other,

allowing you to enjoy both beautiful mountains at the same time.

Founded by Master Wonhyo during the reign of King Munmu of Silla in 661,

the temple preserves many cultural heritage items and is surrounded by stunning scenery.

The parking lot can accommodate many visitors,

making it easily accessible.

Heungguksa Temple offers a temple stay program.

As you approach the temple, you will see

the gentle ascent leading up to it.

In addition to the temple,

the Goyang City Cultural Lantern Festival will be held.

On May 20th (Wednesday), at 5:30 PM,
