On September 9th, I attended the '2026 Goyang Student Harmony Festival: 1000-Person Concert' held at the Goyang Aram Nuri Aram Concert Hall.
This year marks the 9th edition of the 'Goyang Student 1000-Person Concert', where elementary and middle school students from Goyang City come together to create harmony through music.
This event has become a meaningful tradition and a proud representative festival of education and cultural arts in Goyang City.
Before the performance began, the entrance of the Aram Concert Hall was filled with excitement from students preparing for the stage and families and citizens who came to support them.
As I entered the concert hall, I was filled with anticipation, eager to see the stage where the youth would showcase their hard-earned talents.
The concert, held at the cultural arts center of Goyang, was as grand as the number '1000' suggests, with an incredible atmosphere resonating throughout the venue.
Outside the concert hall and in the lobby, a large photo wall displaying the names of the participating students caught everyone's attention.
This meaningful event honored the hard work of the children who practiced diligently, and parents and attendees took the time to find their children's names on the photo wall, capturing memorable moments.
The ticket booth was bustling with visitors, reflecting the community's high interest in the concert.
As the performance time approached, the interior of the Aram Concert Hall revealed a magnificent stage, ready to welcome the audience filling the first and second floors.
Before the main performance, there were congratulatory messages and words of encouragement from distinguished guests who acknowledged the efforts of the student performers.
This concert featured a rich program under the theme 'Together, I Am a Musician', consisting of two parts and a special performance of traditional music.
Opening with the deep resonance of traditional music, the concert showcased orchestral and choral performances by students from different schools, adding to the emotional experience.
Unfortunately, photography and video recording were restricted during the main performance, so I couldn't capture the moments on stage.
However, for over two and a half hours, the performance by more than 1,000 students resonated deeply with the audience, who responded with enthusiastic cheers and applause after each piece.
This year's '2026 Goyang Student Harmony Festival: 1000-Person Concert' was a significant occasion, showcasing how students from different schools and ages communicated and grew through the universal language of music.
