Hello!
Welcome to Yesan County :)
With the cool breeze blowing these days, don’t you feel like taking a break from your busy routine and escaping somewhere?
Today, I would like to introduce the Yesan Romantic Course, where you can enjoy delicious food and find peace in nature.
Muhanchun Sports Park
The first stop on the Yesan Romantic journey is the stunning Muhanchun Sports Park, known for its open and beautiful scenery.
This park offers ample parking space, making it very convenient for visitors driving here, and there are also clean bicycle racks available.
At the entrance, you can take a quick look at the 'Muhanchun Walking Trail' guide and enjoy a pleasant stroll.
The park is filled with the energy of a peaceful yet vibrant daily life, featuring futsal courts, cyclists, and active seniors exercising in groups.
You don’t need to seek out special attractions; simply walking along the flowing waters of Muhanchun, through green foliage, and under the blue sky will provide you with a delightful time at the Muhanchun Sports Park!
As you walk, take a moment to appreciate the beautiful sunlight filtering through the clock tower sculpture and check out the charming stone stepping stones beneath the bridge.
If you get tired while walking, it’s great to sit on a bench in the shade of trees or relax on the platform under the bridge to cool off.
This attractive space, which promotes health and relaxation close to your everyday life, is definitely worth a visit.
Yesan Market
If you’ve enjoyed a leisurely walk in nature, it’s time to satisfy your hunger.
The second stop on the Yesan Romantic journey is the must-visit hotspot, Yesan Market!
The parking lot is spacious, and there are well-maintained public parking areas nearby, so you won’t have to worry about parking even on weekends.
Weekday afternoons are less crowded than weekends, making it a good time to explore the market at a leisurely pace.
Upon entering the market, you’ll be greeted by delightful snack shops offering tempting tteokbokki and fish cakes, as well as colorful fruit stores.
Under the warm yellow lights unique to the old market alleys, trendy dessert cafes have naturally blended in.
What impressed me the most was the presence of a gacha (toy vending) shop and a photo booth catering to the tastes of the MZ generation within the traditional market!
The harmonious coexistence of new culture and old scenery, without pushing each other away, is the unique charm of Yesan Market.
While a leisurely daytime market visit is wonderful, I recommend visiting in the evening for a cozy atmosphere and trying grilled meat yourself!
It’s a place where you can enjoy time with your parents, friends, or a partner, so be sure to visit.
