This weekend, I visited the 24th Wanju Samnye Strawberry Festival. The weather was sunny, creating a perfect spring outing atmosphere, and many visitors filled the festival grounds with a lively spirit.

Upon entering the festival area, I first stopped by the information booth to pick up a map and program pamphlet. The venue was quite spacious, and having the map helped me enjoy the festival to the fullest.

The Wanju Tourism and Sports Marketing Center booth was giving away cute red balloons reminiscent of strawberries. The sight of children carrying balloons added to the bright and cheerful ambiance of the festival.

While exploring the booths, I discovered the Wanju Samnye Strawberry Promotion Center. This area showcased various strawberry varieties produced in Wanju along with local food products, providing a great opportunity to explore regional agricultural goods.

A children's activity zone was set up on one side of the venue. It was impressive to see kids happily participating in various programs, making it a particularly popular space for families.

There was also a fire station experience booth where children could learn about safety through hands-on activities, adding an educational aspect to the program.

As it was a strawberry festival, many visitors were on the lookout for strawberry-related foods. Popular food stalls had long lines, and some menu items had already sold out due to high demand.

I decided to try the booth selling 100% fresh strawberry lattes. They made the drink by blending fresh strawberries with milk right on the spot, which heightened my anticipation.

Unlike typical strawberry lattes that often use strawberry syrup, this one was made solely with fresh strawberries. The natural sweetness of the Wanju Samnye strawberries was delightful, making it just as sweet and flavorful as any café version.

The festival also featured various performances, creating a lively atmosphere throughout the venue as the audience enjoyed the shows.

There were strawberry-themed photo zones set up around the event, perfect for visitors to capture memorable moments with family, friends, or loved ones.

Just as many people at the Daejeon bus station can be seen carrying bags of Seongshim-dang bread, numerous visitors at the Wanju Samnye Strawberry Festival were spotted with boxes of strawberries. I also sought out a sales booth to purchase some fresh strawberries.

At the sales booth, I found large, ripe strawberries packed in boxes at reasonable prices. Being able to see and buy fresh strawberries in person, I ended up purchasing a box myself.

Next to the stage, various food and snack options were also available for sale. The delicious aromas wafting from the booths tempted me to consider having dinner there.

The Wanju Samnye Strawberry Festival, filled with activities for everyone from children to adults, truly felt like one of the region's representative spring festivals. Especially popular was the strawberry picking experience program, which operates on a reservation basis, so it's advisable to check availability if you plan to visit.

The Wanju Samnye Strawberry Festival, featuring sweet strawberries, diverse experiences, and performances, is a wonderful spring festival to enjoy with family and comes highly recommended for your spring outings next year.
