In spring, Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Village attracts many visitors for its Hydrangea Festival, while in autumn, the Ulsan Whale Festival draws crowds!

Recently, various attractions have been added, including the Wales Swing and Wales Cart.

With the new aerial walkway, the Whale Back Path, I visited Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Village in Nam-gu, Ulsan.

Upon arriving at the parking lot, the Ulsan Bridge was immediately visible. The Whale Culture Village offers the best views of the Ulsan Bridge.

If you want to take a leisurely look around the entire village, you can ride the Jangsaengpo Monorail located next to the Whale Museum. It slowly glides along the rails, providing a great view of the village, especially during the Hydrangea and Whale Festivals.

Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Village is a restored site that reflects the daily lives of villagers during the whaling boom. Visiting brings back memories of those bygone days.

At the back of the village, you can catch a glimpse of the Whale Back Path aerial walkway.

Using the hillside walking trail in Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Village, you can visit the Whale Playground with blooming lavender flowers, the Whale Plaza where you can ride the Wales Cart, and the Hydrangea Garden, which is vibrant in spring.

On the way to the Hydrangea Garden, a pedestrian bridge that I had never seen before has been built.

The Whale Back Path connects the Whale Plaza and Wales Fantasium in Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Village. It is an aerial walkway that is 135 meters long, 3 to 6 meters wide, and 20 meters high.

With many activities available at both the Whale Plaza and Wales Fantasium, including the Wales Cart and Wales Swing, it is easy to move between the two locations.

The sight of giant hands holding hydrangea flowers reminds me of the Hydrangea Festival held in spring at Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Village. The large hand sculpture is also a great photo spot with the Ulsan Bridge in the background.

From the Whale Back Path, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Village. You can see the distant Ulsan Port and the scenic view of Jangsaengpo Port along with the Ulsan Bridge observatory.

To the left, you can spot the hydrangea cluster where the festival takes place.

Crossing the bridge, you will find the Wales Fantasium, where you can enjoy 5D immersive videos.

On the second floor of Wales Fantasium, you can experience the thrilling Wales Swing (aerial swing) on the rooftop.

I crossed the Whale Back Path again to reach the Whale Plaza, where you can ride the Wales Cart. If you head uphill, you can explore the Whale Sculpture Garden with various whale sculptures.

Riding the Wales Cart, you can enjoy the newly built Whale Back Path while experiencing thrilling activities.

Take a walk on the Whale Back Path to enjoy the overall view of Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Village and capture some memorable photos. You can enjoy the scenery while experiencing thrilling rides!
