Hwadongmot Waterfront Park, located in Buk-gu, Ulsan, is a space where you can experience nature up close. It is a popular spot for families, offering light walks and opportunities to observe various plants and animals.

There is a designated parking lot, making it accessible by car.

There are no entrance or parking fees. If it's your first visit, the route to the parking lot might be a bit confusing, so it is advisable to check your navigation before heading there.

Restrooms and dusting stations are available at the entrance for convenience.

The park features a pond that is the first sight to greet visitors. A deck walkway runs alongside the pond, although some sections are currently under construction.

However, this does not significantly hinder walking around. I took my time exploring the lotus garden, flower beds, waterwheel, and rest areas located deeper in the park.

The informational sign at Hwadongmot Waterfront Park is helpful for first-time visitors to understand the layout.

As the sounds of cars faded away, the sounds of nature began to fill the air.

Upon reaching the flower beds, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful scenery. The lush greenery, blooming lotus flowers, and the gentle sound of flowing water made me realize this place is a hidden gem of summer.

Venturing further in, I spotted a large waterwheel blending harmoniously with the park's landscape.

Surrounding the waterwheel is a small pond with a continuous waterway. I noticed a variety of water lilies and aquatic plants thriving there.

To my delight, I discovered a frog hiding nearby. I quickly took out my camera to capture the moment, as it had been a while since I last saw one.

The yellow blooming daylilies and the remaining azaleas added to the park's charm.

With plenty of benches and exercise facilities scattered throughout, it seems to serve as a resting place for the local community. This allows visitors to take their time and enjoy the surroundings.

A hiking trail runs beneath the dense pine trees. Many visitors are seen carrying light backpacks and trekking poles, making it a family-friendly environment.

The park's walking paths are not steep, making it easy for families to explore.

This space allows you to encounter nature and feel the changes of the seasons close to the city.

Hwadongmot Waterfront Park is a perfect place for a leisurely walk, ecological observation, and light relaxation. I encourage you to visit and experience it yourself.
