As autumn arrives, flowers have begun to bloom one by one at the Taehwa River National Garden in Ulsan.

Entering October, the garden has become quite vibrant.

I was curious about how many autumn flowers had bloomed, so I decided to visit.

From yellow chrysanthemums to pink muhly grass,

Taehwa River National Garden is a national garden created along the Taehwa River that runs through the heart of Ulsan.

While it is famous for the bamboo forest, the flower beds that change with each season are also a highlight.

This time, I focused on exploring the autumn flowers in the garden.

The large character sculpture represents Ulsan's icon, Ulsan Big Baby.

With its freckled face and a red dress, it always greets visitors warmly.

There are also photo zones decorated with flowers, making it a perfect spot to capture memories before heading off.

The Taehwa River National Garden is quite large, so walking around takes more time than expected.

Using the Ferris wheel is one option, but I decided to walk to get a closer look at the autumn flowers.

For the first point, if I had to recommend a place to fully enjoy autumn, it would be the Naturalism Garden.

Designed by world-renowned garden designer Piet Oudolf, this garden showcases a natural yet well-maintained appearance.

Various flowers and trees are planted here, growing together in a harmonious way.

It feels alive and changes color with the seasons, and while pink muhly is visible here, I will show you a more abundant area below.

This autumn, there doesn't seem to be a single star flower at Taehwa River National Garden.

Instead of focusing on one spot, exploring various areas to find your favorite scenery can also be an enjoyable way to experience the garden.

A long walking path runs through the garden, flanked by autumn plants, creating picturesque scenes perfect for photos.

The paths are straightforward, so feel free to walk wherever your feet take you.

In the middle of the flower bed, frog sculptures made of flowers appeared.

Although they aren't real frogs, their design blends well with the surroundings, evoking a sense of childlike wonder.

The bridge inspired by Monet crosses a pond and is surrounded by wisteria in a tunnel shape, making it an impressive spot.

It's interesting to note that this bridge is modeled after one in the garden that Monet cultivated in Giverny, France.

For the second point, the view of trees and high-rise buildings under an open sky, with a lawn below, is quite unique.

This area represents autumn at Taehwa River National Garden.

Specifically, it is the Chrysanthemum Garden, which cannot be overlooked when discussing autumn flowers.

The clusters of yellow chrysanthemums create a charming sight.

When I visited, the entire flower bed wasn't covered in yellow yet.

As time passes and the green turns to yellow, it will surely be a magnificent sight, so I recommend checking the blooming status before your visit.

For the third point, I sought out the pink muhly grass.

While not fully covered in pink yet, the blend of light pink muhly and green plants was enough to evoke the feeling of autumn.

Viewing pink muhly from a distance gives it a fluffy appearance, but up close, you can see the delicate spikes clustered together.

As the wind blows, they sway beautifully.

Next to the pink muhly, much taller pampas grass was also growing, shimmering golden in the sunlight.

In October, Taehwa River National Garden is a great place to see various autumn flowers like chrysanthemums, pink muhly, and pampas grass all in one spot.

As you walk through the flower beds, time flies by, so if you're planning an autumn outing in Ulsan, it's a great time to visit.
