From October 9 to October 18, it will be held at Hangju Mountain Fortress.
This representative night festival of Goyang City will feature a total of 7 themes, expanding from the original 5 to include 2 new programs.
Experience the 'Hangju is Art' festival under the starlit sky with seven different night themes!
The path to Hangju Mountain Fortress will be illuminated by lanterns.
'Hangju is Art' was born as a healing festival during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021.
It has been selected for the 'National Heritage Night Project' for two consecutive years in 2025 and 2026.
The autumn night festival, linked with the local economy near Hangju Mountain Fortress, has become a representative festival of Goyang City.
On the second day of the festival, many visitors enjoyed the event, creating a continuous line from the entrance to the summit.
With the addition of new night programs, the festival consists of 7 themes: Night Scenery, Night Stories, Night History, Night Art, Night Market, Night Snacks, and Night Culture.
New additions include a night exhibition of Hangju Mountain Fortress and a food experience related to the Battle of Hangju.
The 'Night Snacks' program featured historical food experiences, storytelling, and traditional dishes.
In the food village near Hangju Mountain Fortress, visitors received LED rose gifts for receipts over 30,000 won.
The Goyang National Heritage Night Festival offers a scenic 1 km uphill path from the Victory Gate to the Hangju Battlefield Monument.
Experience booths will be set up around the statue of General Kwon Yul and the surrounding areas.
Every weekend, there will be a music concert at the 'Chungui Jeong' pavilion.
Regular programs include enjoying eight scenic views along the walking path, guided tours by cultural tourism interpreters, and a 'Mission Tour' on the Jangsu Path.
Visitors can participate in various experiential programs, including traditional archery, Hanbok experience, and making wish items.
As the festival continues, enjoy the beautiful night scenery of Hangju Mountain Fortress.
