When is the support period?

From August 29, 2026 (Saturday) to November 4, 2026 (Wednesday)

This half-price travel program is available in eight cities and counties, including Sinan.

Sinan, Mokpo, Yeosu, Goheung, Boseong, Gangjin, Yeonggwang, Jindo

However, you can only apply through one local government among the eight.

For example, you cannot apply simultaneously to both Sinan and Goheung.

Where can you travel in Sinan?

Here are the areas eligible for half-price travel support in Sinan:

Heuksando (including the entire Heuksan region)

Banwol and Bakji Islands

How much can you receive?

The most important question about the support funds!

You will be reimbursed 50% of the tourism-related expenses incurred during your trip.

Here’s a breakdown:

Amount spent | Reimbursed amount

100,000 won | 50,000 won

150,000 won | 75,000 won

200,000 won | 100,000 won

Over 200,000 won | Maximum 100,000 won

You must spend at least 100,000 won to be eligible for reimbursement, with a maximum of 100,000 won available.

Important conditions to remember:

1. You must visit at least one designated tourism site and provide photographic proof.

2. Only tourism-related expenses are eligible for reimbursement.

Eligible expenses include:

Accommodation, ferry tickets, restaurants, cafes, tourist sites, local specialties, and experiences.

However, expenses related to gas stations, car centers, jewelry stores, medical services, and entertainment are excluded.

3. Excluded businesses are those with annual sales exceeding 3 billion won.

4. You must spend at least 30,000 won in the region you applied for.

5. Payments should ideally be made at local gift certificate-affiliated stores.

If you paid online for accommodations, submit both the accommodation confirmation and payment receipt.

Steps to apply and receive reimbursement:

Step 1: Pre-application via the JG TOUR app or website at least 5 days before your trip.

Step 2: Approval of your application by Sinan County.

Step 3: Travel to the islands of Sinan during the approved period.

Step 4: Submit your reimbursement application within 10 days after your trip.

Step 5: Receive your reimbursement via mobile local gift certificate.

Remember: You can only apply once per year, and only one reimbursement application is allowed per approved travel period.
