Shinan County conducted a promotional campaign for the '2026 Agricultural Byproduct Safe Disposal Support Project' from February 10 to March 3, visiting eight towns and villages.

The campaign targeted 2,358 farmers and was linked to practical education for farmers in the new year.

Various promotional activities were carried out to encourage active participation from farmers.

During the campaign, banners were displayed with the message, 'We will dispose of agricultural byproducts for free.'

Additionally, a shoulder strap campaign was initiated, along with the distribution of promotional leaflets and on-site application acceptance to guide participation in the project.

Through these efforts, farmers were informed about safe disposal methods for agricultural byproducts generated on-site, as well as the importance of preventing wildfires caused by illegal burning.

To ensure safe disposal of agricultural byproducts, a shredding support team has been organized, consisting of three groups from the 4-H Shinan County Association, totaling nine members.

The support team visits farms that apply for the project to assist with shredding agricultural byproducts, making it easier for farmers to manage their waste.

The project is divided into two periods: the first half runs from March to June, and the second half from September to December.

Farmers wishing to participate in the shredding of agricultural byproducts can apply year-round by contacting their local agricultural team.

Shinan County aims to safeguard agricultural safety and create a sustainable rural environment by promoting various support policies in the future.
