Geochang seems to have many wonderful attractions.
One of my favorite places to take visitors is the Susungdae Suspension Bridge!
One reason is the spacious parking area!
For those who hesitate to visit due to lack of parking or crowded spaces, this is the perfect condition.
After parking, I took a moment to look at the signs.
Geochang County, Wicheon-myeon!
These signs introduce some of the attractions in the area.
Using the signs as a reference, you can choose your next destination.
You can ascend via the stairs.
The incline isn't too steep, and if you walk slowly, it takes about 15 minutes to reach the top.
The phrases written on the stairs were touching and warm. Reading them made the journey feel shorter.
There are resting areas along the way.
Once you reach the top, there's another resting area!
The suspension bridge, shaped like a Mujutap, adds to the thrill.
At the same time, I became curious about how large the supports must be to withstand such weight.
Two thick wires are anchored in the ground, with three wires on each side supporting the bridge.
After confirming the safety visually, I took a step forward despite my severe fear of heights.
Seeing below heightened the thrill even more.
Looking down from a high position was dizzying, yet it also felt comforting.
The view from above was breathtaking, and that thrill made the scenery even more vivid.
Like the warm phrases I read on the way up, I feel like I've brought down a sense of reassurance today.
I would love to visit again when the seasons change.
