Every last Friday of the month, an exciting festival called "Bulgeumjang" takes place at Geochang Traditional Market.

In front of the Youth Mall where the event is held, passersby paused to enjoy the festivities.

Event Date: October 30, 2026

Time: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Location: In front of the Youth Mall

With lively music playing, many turned back to join in for a song before continuing on their way!

The festival featured a special stage for the residents of Geochang, adding to the excitement of the event.

Participants enjoyed singing, playing dice games, and receiving gifts while still dancing joyfully on their way out!

Today at the Bulgeumjang stage, there was a busking performance by Rhythm Spoon, where the delightful sounds from two spoons created a joyful atmosphere.

After rolling the dice twice, participants received selected prizes.

Anyone passing by could join the dice-throwing game and win many prizes.

Today, fresh Gajung Makgeolli and puffed rice were available as snacks.

Some attendees enjoyed a drink and sang along, having a great time.

There were also experiences for making succulent plants (first 50 participants) and natural insect repellent (50 participants), which filled up quickly.

I saw someone carrying a succulent plant at the end, so it seems you need to arrive early to participate!

Various activities are available for families to explore the traditional market, participate in experiences, and prepare delicious food, so please make sure to visit Geochang Traditional Market!
