Cheongwansan Provincial Park in Jangheung, one of the 5 famous mountains of Honam!

It is located at 89-1, Okdang-ri, Gwansan-eup, Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do!

Cheongwansan Provincial Park is located within Cheongwansan Mountain, one of the 5 famous mountains in the Honam region.

Cheongwansan Mountain gets its name from the dozens of peaks that resemble the crown of an emperor.

It was designated as a provincial park in 1998 and as Scenic Site No. 119 in March 2021.

The path to the top of the provincial park is well-maintained and easy to navigate, allowing you to comfortably enjoy Cheongwansan Mountain.

Along the way, you'll find stone monuments inscribed with poetry, befitting the region's reputation as a home of literature!

Within Cheongwansan Mountain, there were once 89 hermitages, including Cheongwansa Temple and Bohyonsa Temple, but now only a few remain, with only stone pagodas and foundations marking their former locations.

In spring, azaleas and camellias bloom, and in autumn, from mid-September, colorful foliage and silver eulalia grass create a stunning landscape.

You can feel the charm of the season throughout your walk in Cheongwansan Provincial Park in Jangheung.
