A Relaxing Day Trip in Busan's Buk-gu

How about enjoying the summer here while taking care of your health?
When people think of Busan, they often first think of the sea.
However, if you turn your gaze slightly towards the north, you can discover another side of Busan where mountains, forests, and urban landscapes harmoniously blend.
This time, I visited a relaxing healing course in Busan's Buk-gu for a day!
Shall we embark on a day trip course that combines history and nature?
Recommended Course: Seokbulsa Temple -> Manduk Duck Village -> Kaelium Cafe -> Manduk Nuri-gil Observation Deck
1. Seokbulsa Temple
The first destination is Seokbulsa Temple, a representative temple in Busan's Buk-gu.
Located at the foot of Geumjeongsan Mountain, Seokbulsa is famous for its massive stone Buddha and statues carved directly from natural rock.
This unique stone cultural heritage is hard to find in typical temples, making it a hidden gem in Busan.
It is also a popular spot among foreign visitors.
Gazing at the majestic and mysterious rock Buddha, which has coexisted with nature for a long time, feels like stepping into a movie.
2. Manduk Duck Village
After a stroll at Seokbulsa, we headed to Manduk Duck Village for a hearty meal.
This place offers a variety of duck dishes, such as duck bulgogi and duck soup, making it a favorite restaurant for families.
Duck meat is light and easy to enjoy, satisfying everyone from children to adults.
It was a great spot to take a break while enjoying a fulfilling meal during the trip!
3. Kaelium
After our meal, we moved to Kaelium, a large cultural complex that has gained much popularity in Buk-gu.
As its name suggests, "A Space Where Sky Meets Emotion," the view of the mountains beyond the large windows is impressive.
You can enjoy brunch and bakery items while taking in the beautiful scenery!
In the evening, jazz performances create a different atmosphere.
Its unique architecture, reminiscent of the Roman Colosseum, is also popular for photography.
With different seating atmospheres on each floor and a spacious terrace, it's a perfect place to relax.
Especially, the variety and taste of the bakery items are excellent.
Don't forget to try the signature Manduk Tunnel Bread!
4. Nuri-gil Observation Deck
The final stop is the Nuri-gil Observation Deck!
This observation point offers a panoramic view of Busan's cityscape and mountains.
It's a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and feel the refreshing breeze.
During the day, you can enjoy the view of blue mountains and the city, and in the evening, the sparkling night view.
I recommend going there for a moment of healing with your loved ones.
