Hello,

Today, I'd like to share my review of the Seoul Street Arts Festival 2025.

Seoul Street Arts Festival 2025

Dates: Oct 6th (Mon) ~ Oct 8th (Wed), 2025

Location: Cheonggyecheon Stream, Mugyo-ro Street, Seoul Plaza

Admission: Free

Schedule

This year's Seoul Street Arts Festival took place over three days, from October 6th to 8th during the Chuseok holiday.

Although the event has already ended, I'm sharing the schedule here.

You can check the times and specific locations of each performance in the schedule.

However, due to rain during the festival, some performances were canceled or the schedule and locations were changed, so the actual event didn't entirely follow this schedule.

Art Trekking

The Seoul Street Arts Festival has a 23-year history, but the Art Trekking program was introduced for the first time this year.

Art Trekking, which combines Art and Trekking, was divided into guided trekking and individual trekking, and participation was possible through advance reservation.

However, due to rain cancellations, individual trekking started on October 7th, and guided trekking started on October 8th.

Stamp Trekking

Those who couldn't make a reservation for Art Trekking could access the Art Pub through Stamp Trekking.

While Art Trekking required starting from Cheonggye Plaza and going to the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture, Stamp Trekking allowed you to start from the middle and collect stamps.

Welcome Package (Participation Souvenir)

I applied for the guided Art Trekking on October 7th, but it was canceled due to heavy rain.

Instead, I was able to receive the welcome package.

As you can see in the photo, it consisted of a string bag, sports towel, program book, Art Trekking map, and bib number.

환상적인 장면

Seoul Street Arts Festival 2025 Performances

I visited on the last day of the festival and would like to introduce three performances that I saw near Cheonggye Plaza.

Performance Title: Wajak

Artist: A-Run Crew

What is 'Wajak'? The sound of a hard object breaking or collapsing. Or its shape.

This was a breaking performance using wooden blocks.

Performance Title: YOUgurr: The Burdened

Artist: Carlo Mô

YOU represents you. GUR refers to the primal instinct for pleasure and survival, which evokes an obsession to carry anything and everything on one's back.

This is one of the international open call works and is a clowning performance.

Performance Title: Gliding Elite

Artist: Elite de la Glisse

This is one of the international exchange works and a performance showcasing skating.

꿈같은 순간

Lastly, this is a keyring you can receive after completing a satisfaction survey at the information center!

Although it rained a lot on the first two days of the festival, thankfully the weather was nice on the last day, so I could see many people visiting Seoul Plaza and Cheonggyecheon!

This year's Seoul Street Arts Festival has ended, but it's an annual event, so you'll be able to visit again next year!

With that, I'll conclude my review of the Seoul Street Arts Festival 2025.

Thank you! :)
