Hello!
On June 13th (Saturday), the Paju City and the Paju Parenting Support Center hosted the 'Paju Green Children's Festival' at the Grass Square next to the Paju Play Cloud.
The clear skies and sunny weather seemed to celebrate the festival.
From May 6th, we received pre-registrations for 1,000 families with infants and toddlers in Paju for two sessions.
The registrations filled up quickly, indicating just how eagerly people were waiting for this festival.
β¨ The festival grounds were divided into six themed areas: Play Zone, Experience Zone, Performance Zone, Growth Zone, Food Zone, and Photo Zone.
Various institutions in Paju operated diverse experience spaces.
In the Experience Zone, the Paju Police Department set up a pre-registration booth to record children's fingerprints, photos, and personal information in the police system for quick retrieval in case of missing incidents.
π Today, I am also a firefighter!
Under the guidance of a wonderful firefighter, children practiced putting out fires and even tried CPR.
β The Children's Welfare Meal Management Support Center promoted proper handwashing and balanced eating among children.
β The MunSan Comprehensive Social Welfare Center conducted a village connection experience through 'Turing'.
In the Growth Zone, the Paju Child Protection Agency and the Childcare Association launched a campaign to prevent child abuse.
β The Paju Parenting Support Center provided developmental assessments and counseling for infants and toddlers.
In the Play Zone, parents returned to their childhood, excitedly stacking blocks with their children.
Children created straw hats and beach bags with their little hands to gift to their mothers.
These unique creations were truly special.
Driving isn't as easy as it looks; parents were needed!
Children even got to be superheroes and make butterflies to fly high.

Standing in line was a must.
In the Performance Zone, everyone clapped along to the electronic violin performance, creating a moment of unity.
The traditional play 'Heungbu and Nolbu', magic shows, and puppet performances were also entertaining.
Children were thrilled to see animals they had never encountered before.
π With a sound of wonder, the train carrying children departed.
Excited chatter filled the air.

They were drawing unique caricatures of each child.
Families captured their happy moments in four frames.
As the saying goes, 'It takes a village to raise a child,' creating an environment where children can grow healthy and play freely is a community responsibility.
The Paju Green Children's Festival was a meaningful event that showcased this responsibility through joyful practices.
It was a significant gathering that connected a healthy environment for children with better play, education, and future opportunities.
Especially in this era of low birth rates, the festival held great significance in promoting Paju as a child-friendly city!
