This time, we followed the 'Healing Asan' course.

Onggi Fermented Food Exhibition and Experience Center

The first stop on our healing journey in Asan is the Onggi Fermented Food Exhibition and Experience Center.

We enjoyed a special time viewing traditional Onggi exhibits in the home of Chungnam Onggi,

and even making our own pottery. ☺️

It was impressive to see everyone, from children to adults, focused on completing their own creations.

Here, you can also enjoy various experience programs such as puzzle solving, media art, and traditional games.

It was a healing space where you could feel the beauty of Onggi and the deep taste of fermented food at once.

Onyang Oncheon Traditional Market

The second course is Onyang Oncheon Traditional Market!

Centered around Onyang Oncheon, which Joseon Dynasty kings frequented,

it is a traditional market that has been a part of the lives of local residents for a long time.

It is full of delicious foods such as fruits, rice cakes, fish, and snacks.

It was fun to use the Asan Pay received with the tour pass to taste local food!

Oeam Folk Village

Next is Oeam Folk Village.

In the fall, the Straw Culture Festival is held with the theme of agricultural culture,

welcoming travelers with plenty of sights and experiences.

There are plenty of colorful experiences such as performances in wonderful scenery and making egg pockets with straw.

Touring the beautiful Geonjae Old House in the center of the village,

From roasting chestnuts over a bonfire to threshing rice and pounding rice cakes!

I enjoyed the traditions by participating directly.

The Straw Culture Festival, which marks its 24th anniversary this year, is said to be a popular festival visited by about 100,000 people every year.

Asan Rail Bike

The highlight of the trip is definitely the rail bike!

Riding along the old Janghang Line railroad tracks,

The wind blowing through the golden fields was really refreshing.

The rail bike, which shows different charms in all four seasons,

It is also highly recommended as a family trip course with children.

Gongseri Catholic Church

The last course is Gongseri Catholic Church, the most beautiful cathedral in Korea.

The combination of classic architectural beauty and warm sunshine

Makes the end of the trip even more special.
