As you stroll along the quiet alleys of Andong's old town,

you'll find a spot where warm-colored paintings

capture your attention atop an old wall.

This is the Sinse-dong Mural Village,

nestled at the foot of Yeongnam Mountain in Dongmun-dong.

Established in 2009 as part of a village art project,

this village adds art to the living spaces of its residents.

Today, we introduce the Sinse-dong Mural Village,

where murals and alley landscapes blend with the humble charm of Andong's old town.

Upon arriving in the village,

you are greeted by a sign for 'Sinse-dong Mural Village.'

Amidst colorful flowers and green plants,

a rabbit sculpture peeks out,

adding a whimsical touch to your alley adventure.

As you walk through the alleys,

a family mural that covers one side of a building

draws your gaze.

The smiling children and elders,

along with blooming flowers below,

convey the warm atmosphere of the village.

Taking a photo against the backdrop of the blue sky

enhances the vibrancy of the murals!

Further along, you can find a small resting spot.

The ivy growing along the wall, traditional tiled roofs,

and the rabbit sculpture create a perfect place to pause.

The refreshing blue wall features stars and characters,

with scenes of village life painted on it.

As you ascend the gentle hillside along the colorful railing,

you can explore the various aspects of the mural village.

In addition to paintings,

short phrases are also found in the alleys.

Wooden carvings on the teal wall

with the words 'Enjoy, Smile, Be Happy'

add a cheerful mood to your stroll.

Next to the rabbit sculpture and along the stone wall of the hillside,

you can discover more phrases.

As you continue up the hillside,

the old town of Andong comes into view beyond the alleys lined with tiled roofs.

The old residential area, cityscape, and sky

Climbing a bit higher,

you'll find a wooden observation deck

overlooking the old town.

Sitting on the wooden platform, you can relax

while gazing at the rooftops, buildings, and distant mountains.

Bright pink roofs clustered together

create a charming scene.

Between the blue forest and the old town below,

the bright roofs stretch out,

showcasing Sinse-dong's unique landscape.

On the way down, narrow alleys and stairs await.

Passing between the pink wall and teal gate,

you can revisit the village you viewed from above.

One side of the alley features a mural

depicting the stories of Andong,

with phrases like 'The Land of Scholars Andong,'

'Heritage of Hahoe Village,'

and 'Andong's Food Culture' illustrated on colorful bookshelves.

Along the path lined with low walls and old houses,

you'll encounter a blue gate, small paintings,

and a sunflower mural at the end of the alley.

The blue forest and rooftop scenery behind the village come together.

This is the landscape of Sinse-dong,

where murals and the daily lives of residents coexist.

In the Sinse-dong Mural Village,

you can walk along with rabbit sculptures, vibrant murals,
