This time, I went for a drive to Okjeongho Lake in Imsil Unam. After driving along the road, I also took a walk on the Water Fog Trail, Course 5, known as the Water Culture Trail.

The surroundings became quiet as I drove. It was pleasant to enjoy the trees along the winding road without rushing.

As I approached the lake, I noticed the Unam guide signs by the roadside, which made me look out the window more often.

While following the road, I encountered signs indicating directions. Since it was my first time here, I moved slowly, taking in the sights.

I also passed through a path flanked by trees. When thinking of a driving course, I usually imagine just the lake, but this kind of path left a lasting impression on me.

Even though it was the same road, the atmosphere changed slightly with each bend. The time spent driving was also part of this journey.

When I parked the car and looked down, I could see Okjeongho Lake nestled between the mountains. I was able to stop and admire the scenery that was only briefly visible from the road.

Nearby, there was a small viewing area. It was a nice spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

The view of the lake peeking through the trees was lovely. I took several photos of the landscape that appeared and disappeared.

Okjeongho Lake looked different from each viewpoint. That day, I noticed the exposed soil and mountains along the shore.

As I took closer shots, the winding shoreline became more visible. After admiring the lake for a while, I continued my journey.

I could also see a bridge in the distance. The view of the lake and the surrounding road was captivating, prompting me to pause and enjoy the scenery.

Next, I examined the sign for the Water Fog Trail at Okjeongho. The trail is divided into several courses, so I checked where I wanted to walk first.

Before starting my walk, I read the signs along the roadside. Unlike when driving, I noticed the small signs that caught my eye.

I also saw ecological information signs nearby. Reading these as I walked added to the enjoyment of the experience.

There was also a sign indicating that the Okjeongho area is a fishery resource protection zone. After reviewing the information, I continued along the path.

This time, I walked along Course 5 of the Water Fog Trail, the Water Culture Trail. Looking at the map made it easy to understand the flow of the path.

At the entrance, there were rules for using Course 5 of the Water Fog Trail. If you visit, it’s a good idea to read them before starting.

As I entered the trail, a deck path stretched between the trees. Getting out of the car and walking changed the travel atmosphere.

From below the deck, I could see the lake. I walked slowly, alternating my gaze between the trees and the water.

As I followed the path, the scenery visible between the trees kept changing. There were many spots where I stopped to take photos.

Seeing Okjeongho unfold next to the railing felt different from viewing it from inside the car.

I paused to look at the lake up close. The view of both the water and mountains made me slow my pace.

In open areas, I could see the opposite mountain and the lakeshore. That day, the lake's bottom was widely exposed.

This is the view of Okjeongho as I walked. The scenery I might have passed by during the drive became something I could enjoy for a longer time.

I captured the scene of the mountains facing the lake once again. Even though it was the same lake, the feeling changed depending on the angle.

As I passed the lakeshore and entered the forest path, I found a dirt path. I think the Water Culture Trail is a great course for those who enjoy walking.

I walked along the path lined with trees. The sections with views of the lake were nice, but I also appreciated the quietness of the inner forest paths.

I crossed a small bridge along the way. The railing made it easy to navigate, and I could see the surrounding trees up close.

While walking, I came across an area filled with vibrant red flowers. The colors stood out against the green forest.

Since the flowers were blooming widely, I paused to take a photo. I probably wouldn’t have seen this scenery if I had only driven by.

Next to the flower field, there was a gazebo where I could take a break. It was a nice spot to relax while enjoying the views.

Finally, I checked the sign at the fork in the path. If you visit Imsil Unam Okjeongho, how about taking a walk along the Water Fog Trail along with your drive?
