A Wonderful Experience at Argyul Myeongdong Hair Salon
Whenever I needed a haircut, I used to hesitate, but this time I booked an appointment directly at Argyul Myeongdong Hair Salon without much thought.
A friend recommended it after visiting, and I was glad to get a discount through their referral.
It's located right in front of Exit 4 of Myeongdong Station, making it super accessible—literally just a 10-second walk!
It's on the 4th floor of the McDonald's building at Myeongdong Station Exit 4!
At Argyul, they specialize in designing beautiful hair.
This time, I decided to get a volume perm.
I received a C-curl perm from Designer Hyunseo. I've been feeling lazy about styling my hair lately, so I was considering a perm that incorporates both C and S curls. However, Designer Hyunseo suggested that adding S curls now would make my shorter hair look messy, so we decided to go with a C-curl perm that maintains root volume while giving a tidy finish.
After deciding on the volume perm, they started with shampooing and pre-treatment, followed by a light trim at the ends. They were very careful with the cut since I mentioned I was growing my hair out.
They set the lower part of my hair into C-curls first, and while the heat treatment was happening, they kindly brought me dessert and coffee. When I mentioned my phone battery was low, they immediately provided a charging cable. Their kindness was top-notch!
During my wait, they offered a variety of drinks, including hot and iced Americano, green tea, hibiscus tea, and orange juice. While enjoying my coffee, I noticed that beautiful curls were forming.
After setting the curls on top and the lower part, I relaxed on a shampoo bed while the neutralizer was applied. It was so cozy and comfortable, with four shampoo beds available. They even covered me with a blanket in case I got cold!
When I looked in the mirror after finishing, I was thrilled to see the exact style I wanted. Even a rough blow-dry resulted in natural inward curls, and the sides didn’t puff out, significantly reducing my styling time.
I'm so glad I took the recommendation to visit Argyul Myeongdong Hair Salon. Designer Hyunseo was not only friendly but also meticulous in her work.
The salon had a clean and trendy atmosphere, and they have expanded from Hongdae to Gangnam, Seongsu, and now Myeongdong. I noticed many foreign customers there, indicating its popularity among visitors looking for a hair salon in Myeongdong.
