With frequent day trips to Seoul, finding a reliable place to eat inside Seoul Station has become essential.
Hoosum, located within Connect Place at Seoul Station, stood out as a clean, efficient spot for both solo dining and quick meals.
This review shares detailed directions, menu impressions, and why Hoosum is worth revisiting despite the busy station setting.
Why Eating Inside Seoul Station Makes Sense
Hello, I’m the guardian of Uli.
Recently, I’ve been traveling to Seoul almost every week, mostly for short day trips.
When time is limited, eating on the train or inside the station is simply the most practical choice.
That’s why I want to introduce a restaurant I’ve already visited twice inside Seoul Station.
Hoosum at Seoul Station, Location and Hours
Hoosum is located on the third floor of Seoul Station, inside Connect Place.
Address: 122-11 Bongnae-dong 2-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul.
Operating hours are daily from 08:00 to 21:00, with last orders at 20:30.
Breakfast is served from 08:00 to 10:30, and the regular menu starts after 10:30.
Parking and Convenience Information
You can use either the Lotte Mart Seoul Station parking lot or the station parking lot.
Free parking applies depending on purchase amount, starting from one hour with a 10,000 won purchase.
Be sure to request parking registration at the store when paying, as discounts may not stack.
How to Find Hoosum Inside Seoul Station
Even though Seoul Station has many restaurants, finding them can be confusing.
From Seoul Station Exit 1, walk past Gongcha and Olive Young.
Continue up the escalators, and after two escalators you’ll see Zara.
To the left of Zara is the entrance to Lotte Outlet and Seoul Station.
Once inside, take the next escalator up, and Hoosum will be on your right.

Clean Interior and Solo Dining Seats
The interior immediately feels clean and well-organized.
Seating is arranged based on party size, and there are dedicated seats for solo diners.
The solo seats are located near the kitchen, which makes dining alone comfortable and efficient.
In a crowded place like Seoul Station, this setup feels especially thoughtful.
QR Ordering for a Faster Experience
One thing I really appreciated was the QR code ordering system.
There’s no need to call staff, which is ideal in a busy station environment.
You simply scan the QR code, check the menu, and place your order directly.
The basic side dish served is pickled cabbage.
What I Ordered and How It Tasted
On my first visit, I ordered wonton noodles, beef noodles, and shrimp shumai.
On my second visit, I chose the beef noodles and shumai again.
My friend who had the wonton noodles said the broth wasn’t greasy and the noodles were satisfying.
The shrimp shumai were plump, filled with meat, and very enjoyable.

Final Thoughts on Hoosum
I really enjoy beef noodle soup, especially knife-cut noodles.
I’ve searched for similar dishes in Daegu and Gyeongju but couldn’t find anything comparable.
Even though I have to come all the way to Seoul, Hoosum’s clean flavor makes it worth revisiting.
The menu works well for solo diners, which is a big plus.
While prices feel slightly high, it’s understandable given today’s costs.
If you eat a lot, portions might feel a bit small, but overall satisfaction is high.
I’ll be back with more restaurant recommendations next time.
