Wangbijib Myeongdong Branch 2

I recently visited Wangbijib, a Korean BBQ restaurant in Myeongdong!

Wangbijib specializes in Hanwoo beef and Han-don pork, using fresh meat rather than frozen. One of the best features is that they grill the meat for you, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy your meal!

📍 Location

2nd Floor, 13 Myeongdong 9-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul

(5-minute walk from Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station, Exit 5)

🕒 Operating Hours

Daily from 11:20 AM to 10:40 PM

(Last order at 10:00 PM)

🚗 Parking Information

Public and private parking available nearby.

Wangbijib is located on the second floor, easily accessible by stairs!

The interior features spacious tables, mostly accommodating families of four or more.

The tables are wide, the chairs are very comfortable, and the tableware is well-prepared in advance.

Menu Highlights

They offer Hanwoo beef, Han-don pork, and ribs. After much deliberation, we decided to go with pork!

We ordered the marinated Han-don and a whole pork dish.

The banchan (side dishes) already hinted at the quality of the meat. We mixed the yolk with the green onion salad, which was a delightful touch! Fresh lettuce, perilla leaves, and sweet pumpkin salad were also delicious.

They provided a variety of pickled vegetables and seasoned greens, along with soy sauce and kimchi.

It was great that they promptly refilled the banchan without us having to ask. The staff were all very friendly!

We first tried the pork dish (300g) for 43,000 KRW.

They grilled each piece meticulously, serving them in the order of pork jowl, skirt, and belly, matching our eating pace.

Dipping the meat in salt or enjoying it with the green onion salad was a treat, and before we knew it, we finished the whole dish!

The meat was grilled over charcoal, which kept it tender and flavorful.

The tastiest part was definitely the pork belly, which was juicy and rich.

We also ordered the beef soybean paste soup (S) for 10,000 KRW and a bowl of rice for 1,000 KRW.

The rich and slightly spicy soup was perfect with the meat. Make sure to mix the soup with rice!

We also tried the marinated Han-don (230g) for 24,000 KRW, which was a signature dish!

The aroma of the marinated pork being grilled was mouthwatering, and we couldn't resist ordering more!

The marinade was sweet and complemented the perfectly aged meat, making it irresistible.

If you're in Myeongdong or near Euljiro, I highly recommend visiting Wangbijib!
