Seogwipo Black Pig, Jeju Black Pig

Jeju Meat House Dinner

I recently enjoyed dinner at my favorite black pig restaurant in Jeju after a long time.

This summer, I remembered the delicious black pig I had while dipping my feet in cool water.

I rushed over, and as expected, the meat was exceptional!

Although the foot bath service has ended with the changing seasons, the evening atmosphere is still lively.

Everyone should remember the Seogwipo Black Pig and visit.

1. Operating Information for Jeju Sagi Black Pig

Located in the picturesque Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo, the Sagi Black Pig is embraced by the majestic Sanbangsan Mountain.

Upon arrival, the towering Sanbangsan welcomed us warmly.

There are several nearby tourist attractions like Yongmeori Coast and Sagye Coast that you can explore.

It's a perfect location for a dinner outing in Jeju.

After arriving, we were able to park comfortably in the dedicated parking area.

If it's full, don’t worry; you can park next door at the abalone restaurant.

The entrance features beautiful landscaping that excites the heart!

The restaurant is larger than many other meat houses in Jeju, providing a feeling of being at a travel destination.

✔ Address: 201 Sagye-ro, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo

✔ Operating Hours: Daily from 12 PM to 10 PM (Last order at 9:10 PM)

✔ Parking: Dedicated parking available

✔ Amenities: Group reservations and pets allowed

2. Great Atmosphere

There are both indoor and outdoor seating options.

On the day we visited, due to windy conditions, we opted for indoor seating.

However, the indoor space has a lovely outdoor feel, making it quite pleasant.

Looking out at the sparkling palm garden while preparing for our meal added a romantic touch to the experience.

3. A Neat and Diverse Spread

After ordering the Jeju black pig, various side dishes were quickly set on our table.

Fresh vegetables that pair perfectly with the meat, along with a variety of refreshing sides, made for a delightful spread.

All the side dishes were made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, which kept my chopsticks busy even before the main meat was cooked!

4. Juicy Seogwipo Black Pig

Finally, the main dish, the Jeju black pig, arrived.

The visual appeal was stunning; the meat had a vibrant color, and the ratio of fat to lean was perfect.

After a brief pre-cooking, the meat was expertly grilled for us.

The juicy bite burst with flavor, and the deep richness was overwhelming.

5. Side Dishes Worthy of a Main

We finished every bit of the kimchi stew, steamed eggs, and abalone ramen without leaving a trace.

The kimchi stew was rich and flavorful, made with generous amounts of cabbage.

The ramen, filled with abalone and mussels, was incredibly refreshing.

6. Fun Activities

One unique aspect of Sagi Black Pig is the opportunity to feed animals.

In the garden, you can find ducks, goats, horses, and black pigs.

We enjoyed feeding them and had a great time.

Although we missed the fire pit experience due to the wind, we cherished our visit to this remarkable restaurant.

With wonderful memories from last summer, our return to Jeju's Sagi Black Pig was just as perfect as before.

If you're in Seogwipo and looking for a meal, don't hesitate to head here!
