Geochang Sports Park

Located in Yangpyeong-ri, Geochang-eup, Geochang-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, this sports park features a variety of facilities including the Geochang Comprehensive Sports Complex, swimming pool, bowling alley, table tennis hall, tennis courts, inline skating rink, park golf course, and a lake park.

Visit Geochang Sports Park this autumn!

I parked in the lot in front of the archery range within the sports park. The trees and sky welcomed me with a warm embrace.

This photo was taken in front of the inline skating rink, where the autumn sunlight makes the trees shimmer in vibrant shades of red and yellow.

Just last week, this place was bustling with the Geochang Harmony Festival, but now it has transformed into a serene retreat.

The 2026 Geochang Harmony Festival will take place from October 1st to 4th at Geochang Sports Park, themed 'Let’s Go to Geochang's 9 Scenic Spots! An Exciting Gathering'.

This community festival will feature an opening ceremony, street parade, community sports competition, Arim Arts Festival, agricultural product festival, multicultural festival, night market, kids' land, lifelong learning festival, and various other programs.

If you missed it this year, I highly recommend you visit the Geochang Harmony Festival next October!

Now, with the festival over, a peaceful atmosphere has settled in. It’s a great time for a relaxing stroll.

I spotted some late-blooming roses along the path.
