Delicious Korean Beef in Jeju: Taeyeon General Meat Restaurant

During the National Sports Festival held in Jeju, I stopped by a nearby restaurant to enjoy some Korean beef for dinner. It was an amazing day filled with great value for high-quality Hanwoo beef!

If you try Jeju's black pork on one day of your trip, make sure to enjoy beef at this place on another day. You can indulge in top-quality Hanwoo beef at an affordable price, and I'm sure you'll be satisfied!

1. Location and Parking of Taeyeon General Meat Restaurant

Taeyeon General Meat Restaurant, a specialty beef restaurant, is located directly across from the sports complex and is about a 10-minute drive from the airport. It's an ideal dinner spot for the first or last day of your trip.

Parking is available in the restaurant's designated parking lot. If it's full, there's a public parking lot just a 1-2 minute walk behind the restaurant.

2. Interior of the Restaurant

The inside of the restaurant is spacious and comfortable, perfect for family gatherings or group meals. It can get crowded during peak dinner times on weekends or holidays, so it's a good idea to make a reservation in advance.

The atmosphere is lively, which adds to the dining experience. I prefer a place with some buzz rather than a quiet environment.

You can place your order using a tablet on the table. We decided on the Hanwoo assorted set, which is more than enough for 2-3 people, so no need to worry about portion size!

3. Side Dishes & Self-Serve Bar

The basic side dishes included green onion salad, lettuce, garlic, ssamjang, soy sauce, and more. There's also a petite buffet where you can help yourself to additional side dishes. With over ten options available, you can choose according to your taste!

4. Jeju Beef Feast

Soon after, the beautiful Hanwoo beef arrived, served on a large plate with a stunning marbling. The first plate included liver, beef tartare, and sashimi.

The freshness was evident, and even my husband, who usually doesn't eat raw meat, enjoyed it. The beef was tender, with no unpleasant odors, showcasing the restaurant's top-quality meat.

Especially the beef sashimi melted in my mouth. There was plenty, so we didn't have to hold back!

The grilled beef included premium cuts like sirloin and tenderloin, and it was grilled to perfection. The smoky aroma from the charcoal added to the flavor, making it an unforgettable experience.

5. Perfect Finish

But the meal didn't end there! They also served seafood and beef shabu-shabu with abalone, small octopus, and vegetables. It felt like another main dish!

The entire meal was surprisingly affordable, costing less than 110,000 won. It's truly an unbeatable value for a top-notch beef experience in Jeju.

Don't just stick to black pork and mackerel during your Jeju trip; make sure to try the premium beef at this restaurant!
