During a trip to Uljin with my mom, we had a truly precious and delightful breakfast together.

As we traveled, one of my main concerns was finding a good place for breakfast.

Since it was a trip with my mom, I wanted to treat her to a comforting yet delicious meal.

We decided to visit a well-known restaurant near Jukbyeon Port called Aesooni's Cockle Bibimbap.

This restaurant is conveniently located right in front of Jukbyeon Port, allowing us to enjoy the sea breeze as we arrived.

Finding it was easy, and the accessibility made it a great spot for breakfast.

For travelers driving to the restaurant, parking is an essential factor. There is ample parking space available right in front of the restaurant, making it easy to park.

Even though we traveled early in the morning, the convenient parking made for a pleasant start to our day.

The exterior of the restaurant gives off a warm and inviting atmosphere. Thanks to its cozy and friendly vibe, walking in with my mom felt light and welcoming.

Once inside, we found a spacious and comfortable area. The restaurant can accommodate more than 50 people, making it suitable for group gatherings or family trips.

The tables were neatly arranged, allowing us to enjoy our meal with peace of mind regarding cleanliness.

As we sat down and looked at the menu, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of dishes available.

From grilled fish to cod soup and the signature cockle bibimbap, there were plenty of options to choose from.

Interestingly, the restaurant uses locally sourced ingredients, except for the mackerel.

They even use freshly caught fishing cod from Jeju for their cod stew, which was impressive.

The side dishes made with seasonal ingredients were also delightful, and I could have easily finished a bowl of rice just with the side dishes.

The cucumber salad was especially tasty, so much so that I refilled it twice. Its tangy and crunchy flavor was fantastic.

As promised by the owner, who prepares different side dishes daily, we could truly taste the care and skill that went into the food.

We ordered the popular cockle bibimbap and refreshing cod soup. The cockle bibimbap came with two types of sauces: soy sauce and spicy sauce, and we opted for the spicy version.

The sweet and tangy sauce was perfectly balanced, enhancing the flavors without being overwhelming.

The cod soup was incredibly refreshing and flavorful, making me feel completely revitalized. My mom also praised the rich and delicious broth.

The cockles were plump and added a delightful chewiness to the dish. The flavors were so well blended that I ended up eating much more than I anticipated.

Ordering grilled fish or cockle bibimbap also comes with a warm seaweed soup, making for a satisfying meal.

After finishing our meal, we had the perfect opportunity to visit the nearby Jukbyeon Coastal Skyrail, just a 2-minute drive away. It was a great way to continue our day after a hearty breakfast.

We also took some beautiful photos together by the sea, capturing lovely memories from this trip.

If you're planning a trip to Uljin, I highly recommend visiting for a comforting and filling breakfast.
