The 'Goyang Cultural Bridge' is a strong connection that links the lives and culture of Goyang citizens, embodying the vision of the Goyang Cultural Foundation.
Since its inception in 2020, it has represented Goyang Special City as a unified support project for culture and arts.
The planned project 'Nuri Art Week' started in 2025, symbolizing the local significance of Goyang Aram Nuri and the joy of enjoying art together.
Enjoy free performances and exhibitions at the 2026 Goyang Cultural Bridge 'Nuri Art Week'!
This year, a boundary-less art stage will showcase performances that blend performing and visual arts.
Especially, all performances are 'free' and are suitable for children, making it a great program for families to enjoy together.
Nuri Art Week Schedule (August 29 - September 6, 2026)

■ August 30 (Sunday): 2026 Korea-Japan Cultural Exchange Concert (4 PM)
■ September 1 (Tuesday): Pansori by Ari and Ido (7:30 PM)
■ September 3 (Thursday): Raw. Play. Ole! (8 PM)
■ September 4 (Friday): Meeting General Kwon Yul with Cat Eda (5:30 PM)
■ September 5 (Saturday): Kim Joo-hong and Norumachi 'Nonsense' (5 PM)
■ September 6 (Sunday): Yeonhee On Stage (5 PM)
■ Exhibition Schedule: September 2 (Wednesday) - September 6 (Sunday): Hybrid Garden (10 AM - 6 PM, until 2 PM on Sunday)

I attended two performances. The first was the Pansori performance titled 'Pansori by Ari and Ido', which began with an explanation of Pansori by AI voice actors.
The heartfelt Pansori by singers Kim Song-ji and Kim Gi-jin captivated even the children in the audience.
I found myself clapping during some melodies and wiping away tears during others.
The traditional music group 'Set' and the singers created a deeply moving stage.
The AI drawing backdrop simplified the Pansori content, enhancing the audience's understanding and immersion.
The second performance I watched was 'Raw. Play. Ole!', which was the hardest ticket to get during the event.
It was a modern pop-classical concert combined with traditional Flamenco dance from the Andalusia region of Spain.
Team EAN Ensemble's modern pop-classical performance and Flamenco showcased a harmonious blend.
The intensity of Flamenco captivated everyone, and I couldn't help but shout 'Ole!' as the dancer's hand movements reached their peak.
The reinterpretation of classical and popular music was a perfect stage that drew cheers from the audience.
Unfortunately, many people could not attend due to sold-out seats, and there were more 'no-shows' than expected.
It was a great opportunity to see high-quality 'free performances', but the awareness of the citizens left something to be desired.
In the Gallery Nuri Hall, artist So Soo-bin's solo exhibition 'Hybrid Garden' will be held from September 2 to September 6.
The works are inspired by plants around 'Changnyeongcheon', so I recommend stopping by to view them.
Everywhere the eye rests becomes a stage, filling everyday life with art.
