Discovering Seongra Picnic Park in Goyang City
The weather is perfect for outings these days, isn't it?
Today, I would like to introduce you to the well-known picnic spot in Goyang City,
'Seongra Picnic Park.'
Located at 380 Chungjang-ro, Deogyang-gu, Goyang City,
Seongra Picnic Park opened in July 2022.

Seongra Picnic Park operates on a reservation basis.
You can make a reservation through the Goyang City integrated reservation system,
under the picnic area menu.
Reservations are available every Monday from 9 AM to Thursday at 6 PM.
You can apply for the picnic area and parking usage.

Seongra Picnic Park has a total of 35 sites,
divided into 'Goyang Citizens First' areas (A/B) and open areas (C/D).
✅ First session: 10 AM - 3 PM
✅ Second session: 4 PM - 9 PM
The park operates in two time slots per day.
Seongra Picnic Park features a variety of trees, including decades-old metasequoias,
providing shade and a cool atmosphere even in the summer!
When using the park, please remember the following rules:
✔ No pets allowed
✔ No washing dishes
✔ No tents or shade structures allowed
✔ No charcoal grilling allowed
Additionally, please ensure that any waste generated (including food waste) is properly sorted and disposed of at the designated waste disposal area.
Reservations can be made for the 'A/B' and 'C/D' areas,
and tables are claimed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each area and table has a different atmosphere, so take a look around and find your preferred spot!
Personally, I think the 'B area' near the sink and the private 'D area' will be quite popular.
On the day of my reservation, it drizzled, and I was worried about whether we could enjoy the picnic,
but fortunately, the rain stopped just in time, allowing for a lovely experience at Seongra Picnic Park.
We brought delicious food from home and had a wonderful lunch with family.
