The 'Goyang International Flower Festival' has grandly opened its doors this year, taking place from late April to early May.
Attending the press day allowed us to enjoy the festival in advance and gather valuable information!
The festival will be held for 17 days, welcoming guests with greetings from 45 countries.
First held in 1997, this is already the 18th edition of the Goyang International Flower Festival.
By 2025, over 9 million tourists from both domestic and international locations will have visited this representative flower festival of Goyang City.
As a large-scale global flower festival rarely seen in the metropolitan area, its status is high.
During the festival, the lake park will be divided into 'paid' and 'free' zones, with five entrances and ticket booths for efficient management.

The indoor exhibition has become quite diverse, showcasing the beauty of Korea and a 'Global Floral Artist Exhibition'.
The theme for the 2026 festival is 'A Celebration of Blossoms and Time', connecting the past, present, and future through flowers.
This year's festival is designed as a participatory event, allowing citizens to engage more actively.
The festival features several photo zones tailored to different personalities, making it a hotspot for visitors!
- Ticket Prices -
General Admission: 11,000 KRW (Early Bird: 9,000 KRW)
Discounted Admission: 8,000 KRW for Goyang citizens (ID required)
On-site Purchase: 15,000 KRW for general, 12,000 KRW for discounts.
This year, the group size for discounts has been lowered to 10 people, making it easier for small groups to benefit.
The festival promotes eco-friendliness and encourages public transport use.
