The long-awaited peak of spring, the 2026 Goyang International Flower Festival, has finally begun!

This year, the weather greeted us with brightness, igniting a fervor for coverage.

Under the theme "Flowers Coloring Time," a beautiful floral celebration connecting the past, present, and future is unfolding at Ilsan Lake Park.

1. Essential Information Before Your Visit!

The exhibition area is quite extensive, so checking information in advance will enhance your experience.

✅ Operating Dates: April 24, 2026 (Friday) - May 10, 2026 (Sunday)

✅ Viewing Hours: 09:00 AM - 07:00 PM (Ticket sales end at 05:30 PM)

✅ Admission Fee: General 15,000 KRW / Discounted 12,000 KRW

✅ Tip: Goyang citizens, public transport users, and multi-child families can enjoy a 3,000 KRW discount, so be sure to bring proof!

✅ Facilities: Consideration for the mobility-impaired is provided, with stroller and wheelchair rentals available near the gates (ID required).

✅ Pets: Pets are not allowed, but there is an animal shelter near Gate 1.

✅ Family Visitors: A nursing room is available near the "Pengsoo Garden," making it convenient for those with children.

2. Parking and Public Transport Guide

Traffic congestion is expected during the festival, so we recommend utilizing the "temporary parking lots" and "free shuttle buses".

✅ Free Temporary Parking:

- Magpie Parking Lot: Holiday only (2707-1 Daehwa-dong)

- Rose Parking Lot: 10-minute walk from Gate 5 (2605 Daehwa-dong)

- Cactus Parking Lot: 5-minute walk from Gate 4 (1786 Janghang-dong)

The shuttle bus operates every 7-10 minutes for convenience.

✅ Public Transport: It’s a 10-minute walk from Jeongbalsan Station (Line 3) Exit 1.

As you pass through the entrance adorned with vibrant tulips, you can experience the essence of global floral art.

Having explored the site, I found that the weather can get quite warm during the day, so it's easy to tire out quickly.

While there are food markets and convenience stores available, bringing your own refreshing drinks and snacks will allow you to relax comfortably under the shade of trees.

Re-entry is possible with a wrist stamp, so keep that in mind.
