Youth Crisis Prevention Education Program in Sinan-gun

Hello, this is Sinan-gun.
The Sinan Youth Counseling Welfare Center is conducting a '2026 Crisis Prevention Education (Group Counseling)' program for students at Jaeun Middle School.
This program aims to support the safe school life and healthy growth of local youth.
The education will take place from June 4 to June 18, with a total of three sessions held once a week.
It will be conducted within the school for all students (23 students from grades 1 to 3).
This participatory education is designed to engage students directly, allowing them to think critically and enhance the educational impact.
Key topics include:
- Enhancing gender sensitivity and preventing peer-related sexual issues
- Understanding the characteristics of online digital grooming and identifying crime types
- Learning practical response methods as 'witnesses' rather than bystanders
Particularly, the program focuses on helping students recognize various crisis situations that may arise in school life and develop the ability to respond appropriately.
With the recent advancements in the digital environment, the likelihood of youth being exposed to various risks has increased.
Through this education, Sinan-gun aims to support students in properly addressing crisis situations, such as sexual violence and digital crimes.
Moreover, students will be encouraged to create and practice their own prevention guidelines, fostering a healthy sense of sexual values and a school culture that respects one another.
Sinan-gun is committed to ensuring that local youth can grow up safely and healthily by continuously operating various counseling and education programs.
We will do our best to create a Sinan where every youth can grow up safe and happy.
