the 55th National Wild Orchid Exhibition will take place
at the Sinan County Gymnasium.

Sinan's Efforts to Protect Wild Orchids
Sinan plays an important role as a habitat for our country's wild orchids,
supported by its rich ecological resources.
Sinan County has been engaged in various projects for the conservation and utilization of native plants.
Since 2013, it has consistently held exhibitions of wild orchids,
and in 2014, it signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korea Wild Orchid Association
to promote wild orchid restoration projects.
Such continuous efforts to conserve and propagate wild orchids are ongoing.
Furthermore, this National Wild Orchid Exhibition is expected to be a meaningful event
to widely promote the beauty of our wild orchids and increase interest in native plants.
In addition to the exhibition, there will be orchid auctions and sharing events!

the Minister of Forests, the Mayor of Gwangju, and the Mayor of Sinan.
