I visited the Chrysanthemum Exhibition at Changpo Garden in Geochang, a must-see destination.

The exhibition runs from Saturday, October 24, to Sunday, November 8, in the Changpo Garden area.

Parking fees at Changpo Garden are as follows:

Free for under 30 minutes

1,000 won for 30 minutes to 1 hour

2,000 won for up to 2 hours

3,000 won for up to 3 hours.

Residents of Geochang can park for free.

The Healing Center at Changpo Garden offers foot baths and health tea experiences, starting every hour, except at 12 PM and 1 PM.

The experience fee is 5,000 won, which includes a cup of health tea, making it a reasonable price.

I visited on Thursday, October 22, and the exhibition sculptures were already set up, but the chrysanthemums were not fully bloomed yet.

There is also a bike rental service, allowing visitors to explore comfortably with friends or family.

It takes about 40 to 50 minutes to ride around Changpo Garden.

Bike rental costs 1,000 won for one person, 2,000 won for two, and so on, with a maximum of 6,000 won for six people for one hour.

A large pine cone sculpture caught my eye, made by attaching individual pine cones to a wire frame.

It must have taken considerable time and effort to create.

On the way to the rooftop garden, I saw pots filled with blooming chrysanthemums.

From the rooftop garden, you can see the entire exhibition area at a glance.

There are pieces from last year as well as new works this year, making it fun to discover them one by one.

In the rooftop garden, I also found late-blooming cosmos flowers.

I explored the tropical greenhouse at Changpo Garden.

The tropical greenhouse is on the second floor, where you can feel a warm atmosphere, making it a great indoor spot on rainy days.

Passing by white-flowered jasmine, I enjoyed its subtle fragrance.

I briefly wondered how to care for the palm trees as they grow taller.

The mini waterfall and Jack and the Beanstalk sculpture were perfect for taking photos.

Last time I visited, the bananas were still green, but this time they were still unripe.

I also spotted habanero peppers, known for their use in spicy dishes.

I encountered fluffy minke cacti, golden barrel cacti, and flowering giraffes.

As the Chrysanthemum Exhibition approaches, bonsai chrysanthemums are displayed inside the tropical greenhouse.

Outside, there is a large bird sculpture made from aromatic cedar.

The tropical greenhouse is free to visit, but there is an admission fee thereafter.

Even on a weekday, many visitors came in anticipation of the chrysanthemum exhibition.

The admission fee is 3,000 won for adults, while residents of Geochang, seniors, veterans, and preschool children can enter for free.

There were also flower arrangements made from large chrysanthemums on display.

Once the chrysanthemums bloom fully, the chrysanthemum tunnel will be a great spot for photos.

Beyond the tropical greenhouse, there are many other flowers to enjoy.

The Chrysanthemum Exhibition at Changpo Garden runs until November 8, so if you're planning to see autumn flowers, be sure to visit.
