Autumn flowers, particularly the yellow cosmos, are in full bloom along Dongjincheon.
Under the autumn sun, crops are ripening. In the vast fields, rice is maturing, and the harvest of some crops has begun.
The pristine nature of Goesan makes autumn a season of abundance, with the yellow cosmos also blooming beautifully.
I enjoyed this beautiful season along the banks of Dongjincheon.
During the Goesan Red Taste Festival in May, the Agricultural Technology Center of Goesan created a cluster of canola flowers, and in autumn, a cluster of yellow cosmos was established for the Goesan Pepper Festival.
The yellow cosmos enjoyed during the festival was at its peak.
If you haven't experienced it yet, I recommend hurrying to see the autumn flower clusters along Dongjincheon.
The cluster of yellow cosmos is located in the wide fields between the Goesan Agricultural Technology Center and Dongjincheon.
It harmonizes with greenhouses and agricultural research centers, creating a scenic area in spring and autumn.
The autumn flower fields extend widely along the walking paths leading to Dongjincheon.
In 4 to 5 clusters, waves of orange flowers sway gently.
The yellow cosmos blooms in shades of yellow and orange, primarily flowering from late summer to early autumn.
Having been sown early, these flowers represent autumn and can be seen from summer to fall.
The yellow cosmos thrives even in harsh environments, symbolizing overflowing wildness and natural beauty.
The open fields of Dongjincheon provide the perfect environment for the growth of yellow cosmos.
The yellow cosmos reached full bloom by the end of August, peaking during the Goesan Pepper Festival in September.
Some even produced seeds. The bright yellow and orange flowers swaying gently in the autumn breeze truly embodied the essence of fall.
In that moment, I couldn't help but exclaim, "Ah, it’s autumn!"
The autumn flower clusters in Goesan have paths created separately from the existing paved walkways, allowing visitors to enjoy the cosmos comfortably.
It was great for taking photos among the flowers and enjoying the romance of autumn along the flower paths.
The landscape of blue skies combined with the green and yellow of the yellow cosmos made me feel young again.
Strolling slowly through the flower fields, I found myself striking poses for photos.
The flower clusters were at the perfect height for taking pictures with adults kneeling down.
With the autumn flowers arriving at the end of summer, it seems like we will enjoy a longer autumn.
The autumn flowers by the river harmonized beautifully with the surrounding scenery.
As the background changed from low ridges to greenhouses and the village to the banks of Dongjincheon, the same flower field appeared slightly different each time.
The 19,000 square meter cluster of yellow cosmos starts from the Goesan Agricultural Technology Center, with a zigzag path leading through the flowers.
It was approximately a 40-minute walk.
If you include the path to Dongjincheon, it becomes a flower trail of over an hour.
The seemingly similar yet different landscapes of the blooming yellow flowers were so beautiful that I couldn’t help but take photos with every few steps.
It felt like a natural reflex to capture these moments.
The beautiful scenery of the yellow cosmos in Dongjincheon is expected to continue until mid-September.
