Especially on weekends and holidays, it is recommended to book in advance!
Pompidou Center Hanwha features a collection of works from the Pompidou Center in Paris.
The opening exhibition, "Cubists: Innovators of Vision," showcases about 90 works from leading Cubist artists.
This exhibition introduces the birth and development of Cubism from 1907 to 1927 in eight sections.
Visitors can encounter works by iconic Cubist artists such as Picasso, Georges Braque, and Juan Gris.
As you follow the Cubist artworks that depict the same subject from multiple perspectives, you'll naturally understand why they are regarded as innovative forces that changed the course of modern art.
For those who find modern art daunting, this exhibition is easy to enjoy.
Exhibition Tip: Free docent tours are available on weekdays at 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM, and on weekends at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Registration starts 30 minutes before the tour on a first-come, first-served basis (50 people per session).
After your visit, don’t forget to check out the Pompidou Center Hanwha Art Shop, which sells various goods, including postcards, art prints, eco-bags, and stationery featuring exhibition artworks.
