The autumn we welcome at the Future Agricultural Theme Park in Ochang-eup, Cheongwon-gu, Cheongju is particularly special.

With the Cheongwon Life Festival taking place from October 2nd to 11th, the theme gardens, carefully tended to, are already preparing for the exciting autumn ahead.

Although the festival preparations are not yet complete, about 80% of the work is done, allowing us to explore the area with joyful hearts.

I was told that by the end of the weekend, everything would be nearly finished, and it should be possible to visit before the Chuseok holiday next week.

Throughout the garden, colorful flowers and charming sculptures create a vibrant autumn atmosphere that leaves visitors in awe.

The Future Agricultural Theme Park is not just a place to look at; it is a perfect experiential space where families can enjoy autumn together and create wonderful memories.

After parking, the entrance greeted us with bright purple verbena, and just beyond, Anne of Green Gables and her friend Diana smiled warmly alongside a moon sculpture, brightening our spirits.

The heart-shaped photo zone in front of the greenhouse sparkled, while the colorful dogwood trees were beginning to change hues, enhancing the richness of autumn.

The greenhouse at the Future Agricultural Theme Park is a multi-purpose space where nature and relaxation come together, undergoing transformations for the festival.

Upon entering the greenhouse, we saw models of traditional Korean thatched houses alongside carefully cultivated vegetables and flowers.

Following the path behind, we found a rooftop garden theme filled with delightful plants and photo zones.

The photo zone with pumpkin cushion seats was soft and inviting, making us feel wonderful when we sat down.

There was also a cute bear photo zone that was hard to pass by without taking a picture.

We could create joyful memories while taking pictures and writing wishes and encouragement messages.

The next area was like a maze, featuring Spider-Man and a buzzing bee sculpture that would delight children.

There were also boxes displaying various insects and creatures for visitors to observe.

Next was a European garden-style street that women would likely love, with benches and photo zones scattered throughout for perfect Instagram shots.

Beyond this area, we encountered the Eco Café Moss Zone, which was still under preparation during my visit, but we could see the beautiful Western orchids adorning the ceiling and bonsai plants.

The next area was the Tropical Plant Zone, featuring various tropical plants including bananas, creating a cozy garden atmosphere.

The words scattered around also uplifted the spirit, conveying a sense of abundance and happiness.

Afterward, we visited the Rice Exhibition Hall across the way, showcasing the story of Cheongsu Sorori rice, the oldest rice variety in the world, along with exhibits on rice types, history, and agricultural culture.

The exhibition hall is open from 9 AM to 6 PM, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The space offered a video experience of the rice cultivation process, making it a small but enriching visit.

As we strolled slowly through the carefully cultivated flower beds, the gentle scent of autumn flowers uplifted our spirits.

Though the cosmos were not yet in full bloom compared to last year, they should be more vibrant by the time of the festival.
