The newly named Paju City Coexistence Support Center has opened its doors!
It is a place that safeguards workers' rights and prepares for the future of entrepreneurs.
The 'Paju City Coexistence Support Center' created by Paju City is an integrated support facility that connects labor and entrepreneurship.
The center, which has been newly renovated from the former Munsan Library, houses a Labor Rights Center, labor consulting rooms from the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and the Korean National Trade Union, as well as an entrepreneurship campus! ✨
At the Labor Rights Center, support is provided for issues such as wage problems, unfair dismissals, and workplace harassment through legal and psychological counseling. Welfare program support offers self-development, exercise, and healing programs, providing comprehensive psychological support and education for the enhancement of labor rights.
During my visit in the morning, all counseling rooms were busy with consultations, and the warmth from the completed sessions was palpable.
This thoughtful space design ensures that workers can visit without hesitation.
On the third floor of the Coexistence Support Center is the 'Paju Global Entrepreneurship Campus'.
Here, a global entrepreneurship support program is operated based on international collaboration with Beijing University’s entrepreneurship training program!
This includes programs such as 'Global Leadership Executive Course', 'Northeast Asia Summit Forum', 'Development of Paju-type Entrepreneurship Programs', and 'Global Investment Attraction Roadshow', which go beyond traditional short-term entrepreneurship education to consider networking and investment connections.
It felt like a strong aspiration to pave the way for challenges started in Paju to connect to the world!
From February, efforts will be made to attract businesses, preparing for a 12-week 'Global Leadership Executive Course' twice a year. ✍️
The primary participants will be companies located in Paju, but plans are in place to include those considering relocating to Paju or those who might find opportunities through this program.
Center Director Lee Sang-woon stated that the Global Entrepreneurship Campus will support companies in forming networks with China through networking, and will also handle local residents' minor complaints as the 'Institute for All Issues Related to China'. ✨
The opening of the Coexistence Support Center by Paju City signifies a meaningful shift from labor rights policy to viewing relationships as something to grow together.
We hope that a stable labor environment will serve as the foundation for entrepreneurship, creating a virtuous cycle where a healthy entrepreneurial ecosystem leads to job creation.
