The campaign 'Libraries are Cool: Turn Off and Go to the Library' is being held at 223 libraries, including the Seoul Library.

What does 'Libraries are Cool' mean?
It is a campaign designed for citizens to turn off air conditioning temporarily and enjoy reading and cultural activities at nearby libraries.
Since 2023, the Seoul Library has been promoting this climate campaign, with all 223 libraries participating this year.
Through this campaign, public libraries in Seoul are becoming not just places to read but also cool retreats from the heat and spaces for practicing energy conservation.
What programs can you enjoy at the library?
This year's campaign is held under the slogan "My Secret Summer Retreat, Our Neighborhood Library."
A total of 1,665 summer reading cultural programs will be offered at libraries across Seoul.

Can I participate in visit events?
Yes! The 'COME TO COOL LIBRARY' visit certification event is also taking place.
