In celebration of the Cheonggyecheon Museum's 20th anniversary, we present the special exhibition:
<People of Cheonggyecheon: A Meeting of Life and Memory>
This exhibition showcases the lives of people who have lived alongside Cheonggyecheon from the Joseon Dynasty to the present day through artifacts and photographs, shedding new light on the significance of Cheonggyecheon.
Dates: November 18, 2025 (Tue) ~ March 29, 2026 (Sun), 9:00 AM ~ 6:00 PM

Exhibition Structure:
Part 1: From Gaechen to Cheonggyecheon
An exhibition exploring the changes of Cheonggyecheon from the Joseon Dynasty to the present.
Part 2: The People of Gaechen
An exploration of Jungchon, the area around Gaechen during the Joseon Dynasty, introducing the Jungin and merchants who lived there.
Part 3: The People of Cheonggyecheon
A presentation of the shanty towns along Cheonggyecheon and the various shops and merchants in the Dongdaemun area through photographs and graphics.
