In celebration of World Environment Day in June, the GREEN Han River event is a citizen-participation environmental festival taking place at Gwangnaru Bicycle Park.

In honor of World Environment Day, a 'Han River Cleanup' will be conducted today (June 5) starting at 11 AM around the Banpo Han River Park.

Professional divers and safety personnel will collect underwater trash, while citizen volunteers will participate in land cleanup and recycling campaigns.

This relay of environmental cleanup activities, from underwater to the festival site, aims to deepen the significance of World Environment Day. 🌎

The main program of the GREEN Han River event is Ecoteering.

Ecoteering allows participants to become explorers and navigate various missions throughout Gwangnaru Han River Park. 🌳

Due to high interest, pre-registration is now closed! However, additional participation will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on the event day, June 6.

Participants who complete missions can take memorable photos at the photo zone.

Mission Zone activities include:

  • Han River Exploration Roulette Quiz
  • Coloring the Han River Park
  • Han River Biology Jenga
  • Han River Protection Basketball Game

All activities in the Mission Zone are free, but may end early if materials run out.

In the Experience Zone, there will be 11 program booths combining digital and scientific technology with environmental education.
