The '30th Farmers' Day Commemoration, 9th Goseong Agricultural & Livestock Products Festival' will be held from November 11th to 12th at Goseong-gun Sports Town Field 4.

This event, organized by the Goseong-gun Agricultural Organizations Council (Chairman Oh Tae-ho) and sponsored by Goseong-gun, has been prepared to enhance the pride and self-esteem of farmers and promote the consumption of local agricultural and livestock products.

The festival includes a commemorative ceremony, celebratory performances, agricultural and livestock product promotion and sales, free tasting events, exhibitions and experience programs, and promotions for returning to farming, young farmers, and the Hometown Love Donation System.

On the first day, November 11th (Tuesday), a direct market for agricultural and livestock products and an exhibition event will be held from 10:00 AM. The festival will begin at 10:30 AM with an ocarina performance by the Women Farmers' Association and a pre-show performance by fusion Korean traditional music group 'Hwaon', followed by a commemorative ceremony at 11:00 AM.

The commemorative ceremony will include an introduction of guests, a declaration of the opening, a national ceremony, awards for meritorious persons (2 county governors, 2 council chairpersons, 1 branch manager of NH Nonghyup Goseong-gun, 2 appreciation plaques), and after commemorative addresses and congratulatory speeches, a Farmers' Day celebration performance of 'Goseong has Goseong Rice Gangjeong' will be held.

In the afternoon, starting with a beer-drinking contest, celebratory performances and events will be held until 6:00 PM, including stages by trot singers Han Areum, Yoon Ina, and Seo Baek, a Nanta performance by the Life Improvement Association, electronic string group Iree, and performance team Happiness.

On the second day, November 12th (Wednesday), agricultural and livestock product exhibitions and sales will be held from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Programs for sustainable agriculture and regional co-prosperity will also be operated, including booths promoting returning to farming, young farmers, and information on the Hometown Love Donation System. The event is scheduled to end at 3:00 PM.

At this event, 1,100 people will be given ₩5,000 coupons on a first-come, first-served basis (November 11th (Mon) 11:30 AM, 3:30 PM) for the purpose of welcoming visitors and encouraging the purchase of agricultural products. Free sampling of Korean beef and pork, as well as developed products from the Agricultural Product Processing Technology Utilization Center (Chwinamul Rice + Soybean Paste Stew, Traditional Liquor, Chewy Sweet Corn, Sikhye, etc.) will also be prepared to provide a variety of foods.

In addition, various agricultural products from Goseong, such as Goseong rice, sweet persimmons, spinach, paprika, mushrooms, and kiwi, as well as livestock products such as Korean beef, pork, eggs, honey, and seafood such as scallops will be exhibited and sold. In addition, eco-friendly agricultural materials, native seeds, and agricultural machinery exhibitions, as well as home fashion, Hanji crafts, and traditional Gyubang crafts works by women's agricultural organizations will also be exhibited, providing visitors with a variety of attractions.
